This is an oracle for solo rpgs that uses the Elder Futhark with some heavy interpretation leaning towards prompts suitable for such games. It is not authentic to any prior usage (either writing or early versions of divination). Liberties have been taken all over the place. For instance, "inverted runes" is a modern conception, but I like it.
Or at least, will be. First I'm just building the infrastructure and winging it. Will continue to work on prompts and such and do some playtesting.
CURRENTLY: It draws two runes because I like to use double oracles in my games. The idea is to combine them, contrast them, read one as a subsection of the other, or just pick one. It has about a 50% chance of inverting the rune.
Major inspiration, and some of the wording, comes from the first edition of Nathan Rockwood's // Larcenous Designs' Gamemaster Apprentice decks. I've altered the text in most places and in some have changed it entirely. Still, at this time I will consider him to have a major chunk of the credit for the text.
